At Violin & Co., we believe the quality of the rental instrument is a crucial factor in the student's ability to learn to play any instrument and enjoy a resonant and warm sounding instrument. Our philosophy is to invest in higher quality instruments, replace the factory strings and bridges, and finely tune each instrument.
 

Advanced Instrument RENTALS

Advanced violins, violas, and cellos are available for the serious performer which are individually priced according to the make & model chosen.,. These instruments are one of a kind and are subject to availability and an in-store trial.

Standard Instrument RENTALS

Our promise to provide high quality instruments for any budget is evident with our rentals. Once the instruments are delivered to the shop from one of our European manufacturers, they undergo the Violin & Co. “Make-over.”

Each instrument is inspected and set-up in our shop by Cezar Mateus:

- The bridge is hand carved,

- The pegs are adjusted,

- New upgraded strings (not factory grade) are installed,

- And any other modifications needed to get the instrument to meet our strict standards.

All Violin & Co. rentals can be up-sized, at no cost, during the rental period, as the student grows. We offer Rental Credit toward the purchase of one of our fine instruments, please refer to the Terms & Conditions for details. The rental instruments are NOT for sale.

All rental instruments include a carbon hybrid bow, case/bag, rosin, & shoulder rest (violin & viola)
